SM releases the orchestral version of ‘End of Day’ by Jonghyun

SM just released the orchestral version of the track ‘End of Day’ by SHINEE’s Jonghyun. This is the second track that gets the classical treatment. The first being ‘Red Flavor’ by Red Velvet which we wrote about here

‘End of Day’ by Jonghyun is such a beautiful song already, I was quite curious to see how they would elevate that. But Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra and the composer Inyoung Park did the song credit.

It’s stunning and with all the sweeping violins it feels very fragile in its existence. Something I really like is the fact that SM will donate all the profits of the orchestral version to the Shiny Foundation. It makes listening to the song even sweeter.

I genuinely like the color scheme in this video. I think it’s quite clever how they chose the colors of the sunset to match the room where the musicians are playing. It’s very subtle, but it makes it a wholesome viewing experience.

Go take a look!

If you want to add the song to your Spotify playlists, you can find it here.
