VERIVERY is back after just a couple of months since their last comeback. This Jellyfish Entertainment boy group is out here working hard, and we are glad to get more of their music.
This EP titled ‘FACE US’ is the second part of their ‘FACE it’ era, and we are thrilled to see what they are bringing this time. Let’s dig in!
FACE US
Starting off with a lot of power and leaving a strong impression ‘G.B.T.B.’ plays. This is the title track of this release, it goes off with a lot of synth, EDM, killer rapping and very cool beat drops. I liked how the bridge marked a nice pause in the song and somehow softened the tempo, it was an interesting addition to this powerful track.

‘MY FACE’ is next with a kinda mysterious and slightly intense build up (in a good way). This track is a super interesting listen, I really dig how they changed the vocals and made it quite rough for some parts. The harmonization is fantastic and the constant change in tempo had me expectant and alert. This track is an absolute trip.
On the more pop side we get ‘Hold me tight’ with a happier and trendy sound. This song is an easy listen that will have more than one grooving to it.
Deep bass and some interesting vocalization kicks off ‘Get Outta My Way’, this track’s layering is insanely good, I loved how they mix synth, bass and added some instrumentation. It blends splendidly with the vocals.
The very much needed pop-ballad ‘So gravity’ puts an end to this extended play and what a fantastic way to close it. The vocals are on point and this song leaves a fuzzy and warm feeling in the heart. Dongheon co-wrote this track and made it extra special.
