[Review] VANNER – BURN

VANNER is back with new music in their third mini-album, ‘BURN’. Following their victory on JTBC’s ‘Peak Time’, the group has been steadily growing their fandom and popularity. We’re excited to dive into what they’ve prepared this time!

Let’s dive in!

BURN

The album opens with ‘Revolver’, kicking things off with electric guitar and bass that set the tone for an intense listening experience. The powerful singing and sick rapping flow, elevated by strong instrumental accompaniment, make this track an explosive start.

Next up is the title track, ‘Automatic’, an electric funk and disco mix. The arrangement here is phenomenal, with synths and a catchy melodic line that delivers absolute vibes. The music video mirrors the cool energy of the track, with effortlessly stylish visuals and the members looking flawless.

‘New Heights’ keeps the retro synth feel alive, featuring a fantastic vocal and instrumental build-up. The harmonies and ad-libs make this groovy track an easy and enjoyable listen with a vibey style.

‘Blossom’ adds emotional depth with a mid-tempo pop song, sweet falsettos, and minimal instrumentals that draw listeners in. It’s intriguing, delicate, and beautifully crafted.

‘Xcellerate’ turns up the energy with EDM and hip-hop elements, delivering an adrenaline rush. The vocal strength and the rap-line verses stand out, especially with a smooth and impressive bridge that seals the deal.

The album wraps up on a dreamy note with ‘Be Together’, featuring dynamic beats, adorable melodies, and stunning harmonies. The balance between rapping and singing is flawless, making this track the perfect closer. It leaves you wanting to listen to the entire album all over again.

VANNER’s third mini-album is a solid listen, filled with surprises and great music. Make sure to check it out here!
