[Review] UP10TION – Code Name: Arrow

The boys from UP10TION are back with their new mini-album ‘Code Name: Arrow’. Let’s dive right in!

Code Name: Arrow

The opening track is ‘Angel’. This is a super dope future EDM track with a cool flow and very fresh rap verses. The falsetto in the chorus is lovely!

‘What if love’ is the title track. We’re going Dance Pop with this one. Again, we get excellent vocals, really cool rapping and a very smooth flow. This is such a solid title track!

The outfits are amazing!! Literally, they look so cool.

‘BLOOM’ is a dance/EDM track. According to the title track: “The song’s progressively escalating development makes it feel like a flower is blooming, giving you a pleasant feeling of excitement.” It’s a vibe. I like it!

Next up is ‘Flash’. I thoroughly enjoyed this one. I love the retro elements and the use of instrumentals. It definitely has some groove that’ll have you vibe to it from the start.

‘Starlight’ had me shook between the high and low vocals. It’s so fun to listen to. This one is a gift to the fans with all their love, thanks and dreams.

The closing track is ‘Rewind’. This rock ballad slows things down a tiny bit and lets us feel our feelings for a moment.

Overall ‘Code Name: Arrow’ is a lovely mini-album by UP10TION. Go ahead and listen to the mini on Spotify here.
