The Boyz just released their eightj mini-album ‘BE AWAKE‘. Over the last year this group has been busy with their world tour and their countless performances, nevertheless, with their hectic schedule they are still gifting fans with new music. We are very excited to listen to what they prepare for this release. Let’s dive right in.
BE AWAKE
‘Awake‘ kicks off this release on a sexy and smooth note, with a mix of EDM and R&B this single goes off! The ad-libs, vocals and flow of the rap-line is insanely good in this song. The beat drops are incredible, and it is definitely a very strong and solid start for this release.
Next up is the title track ‘ROAR‘ with The Boyz’ distinctive sound and style, and a fantastic composition. This R&B/Pop single flows with a smooth vocal layering, ad-libs, and plenty of harmonisations. For the music video we get a full production that mixes a dystopia with vampires. This fascinating combination gets better with the tight and very well executed dance shoots, and the individual ones that make each of the member look extremely good. Watch it below.
‘Blah Blah‘ follows up and makes things sweeter with a retro-pop feel and a groovy melody. This single is super fun to listen to! The beat drops before the choruses are very satisfying. ‘Savior‘ comes up next with R&B tunes and killer singing. The vocal line stands out in this single and owns it with a very impressive performance.
On a very soft and acoustic note ‘Horizon‘ plays with nothing but heartfelt singing and stunning harmonies. This single is a very pretty and calming listen, a very unexpected twist in this release.
Last in this mini album is ‘Diamond Life‘ closing it off with a mix of rhythmic EDM, pop and hip-hop, this track is quite experimental but a very cool listen. It definitely closes off this mini-album on the same high note it started.
