[Review] TEN – STUNNER

TEN is back to stun with his new mini-album ‘STUNNER’ (pun intended, sorry). We’re super stoked because his pre-release ‘Bambola’ was super fun.

STUNNER

We start off with the title track ‘STUNNER‘. Hello VOCALS?! This is a beautiful track, super suave, super sexy and very catchy. We’re getting an actual bridge, which is something I’ve been missing in K-pop.

Next up is ‘Enough for me’ which brings us a smooth R&B pop blend with killer vocals and a killer hook.

After that comes ‘BAMBOLA’ which was a pre-release.

‘Sweet as Sin’ breaks the R&B pattern with a more hip-hop focused track. We’re getting a heavy bass and a lot of cool instrumentals. I enjoyed this layering a lot. The hook is fantastic and begs you to go to the dance floor.

‘Waves’ brings in the Afrobeats and this was co-written and co-composed by Omar Rudberg who you might know from the Netflix series ‘Young Royals’ or from his own music career. This is such a fun summer track with airy vocals and a cheerful rhythm.

Next up is ‘Butterfly’. This is a sentimental ballad with a beautiful piano line and an orchestra. TEN’s vocals shine very brightly in this track and show once again what a powerhouse he is.
