TEMPEST is back with their second mini-album since their debut in March. ‘SHINING UP‘ is the title of this release, by the look of it we are getting youthful summer bops, full of the energy and charisma this group has shown since their debut.

SHINING UP
Strong beats and energy welcome listeners in the single ‘Young & Wild‘, this track is summer bop to vibe to, the hype in it is real and the chanting super cool. The rap line did some awesome verse delivery and its mixing and full composition is fun and fresh.
For the title track ‘Can’t Stop Shining‘ we get a more pop sound with EDM tunes and awesome harmonies. The singing and backing vocals is this single are amazing and have a very cute, wholesome energy I absolutely loved. They definitely went for a more refreshing a effortlessly cool concept and they nailed it.
For the music video we get the same energy, with peak aesthetics and a stunning set design and camera shots. The “we are best friends energy, let’s enjoy life” energy going on in this video is wholesome, the members look like they are having a blast and that makes it even better. Watch it below.
Piano orchestration begins ‘Only One Day‘, this single is such an easy listen. The vocal line pops out in it and made it sweet and heartwarming. The ad-libs are fantastic and the high note smooth.
Ending this EP we get ‘START UP‘. This is a hype single with a funky rhythm and a lot of groove, definitely a super fun and memorable way to end this release.
