ONEUS is back with the special album ‘Dear.M’. We’re super stoked to have our vampire overlords back, so let’s take a closer look!
Dear.M
We start off the album with the title track ‘IKUK’. This was the track they originally performed on ‘Road To Kingdom/ Ace of Ace’ in which they won silver. It’s a funky track with a lot of groove. I really enjoyed the vocal distortions during the chorus, it makes for a memorable, catchy vibe.
‘We Are Young’ comes along with a surge of youthfulness. We get sick electric guitars and a rebellious vibe. I liked the build-up towards the chorus which is one of those you simply have to clap your hands and stomp your feet to. It’s a lot of fun!
Next up is ‘Devilish Love’. This is such a dreamy, sexy track. I love this one so much. It’s playful and has excellent pauses and build-ups. The vocal harmonies are well placed and Leedo pretty much gave me a heart attack.
‘W’ is a gentle, acoustic track with a warm guitar as instrumental. This is one of those lovely songs that will have you in tears during concerts. The vocals are well brought and create an intimate listening experience.
After that comes ‘Rupert’s Drop’. This is a pop track, sticking with the acoustic guitar but a bit more rock ballad momentum. This is a song for the fandom TOMOON because “we are each other’s most precious beings, even our hard and dull hearts melt in an instant in front of TOMOON.”
The following tracks are the Penta Versions of their previously released tracks. We get the new versions of ‘Valkyrie’, ‘Twilight’, ‘LIT’, ‘A song written easily’, ‘To Be or Not To Be’, ‘BBUSYEO’, ‘No diggity’, ‘Black Mirror’, ‘Life is Beautiful’, ‘LUNA’, ‘Bring it on’ and ‘Same Scent’.
