[Review] LABOUM – BLOSSOM

LABOUM is back with their third mini-album ‘BLOSSOM‘. It’s been a while since they had a comeback and we are looking forward to listen to the wonderful music they have prepared for fans. For this release, Soyeon and Solbin were involved in the writing of the lyrics and composition of a couple of tracks.

BLOSSOM‘ marks the first release of LABOUM as a quartet, let’s get ready and dive into the music in this mini-album.

BLOSSOM

Kiss Kiss‘ begins this release and it is also the title track, this single is all about stunning vocalization and very delicate and minimal orchestration. This song is super charming and it just gets better with its music and the visuals.

The styling is gorgeous, and the members look like fairies straight out of a fairytale. Check it below.

A smooth mix between soft pop with a touch of R&B takes over in ‘How I Wish‘. The members do a splendid job in this song, the vocals are fantastic and really follow the chill vibe of the song. ‘Repeat‘ follows up with a melancholic feel in the lyrics and a lovely mix of beats and instrumentals that makes it a very soft listen.

The ballad ‘Love On You‘ dedicated to LABOUM’s fans, comes up next with an acoustic guitar instrumentation and very emotional singing, just ADORABLE.

The last track of this mini-album is the English version of the title track. LABOUM created a great release that showed off the vocal power and was full of charm and beautiful music.
