The girlies from ITZY are back with their album ‘Motto’. We’re super stoked so let’s take a closer look at this comeback!
Motto
We start off with the title track ‘Motto’ which is a catchy, summer track with cool synths and a nice progression. It’s a lovely listen and the music video is SO pretty! I really enjoyed the pre-chorus and the vocals throughout!
‘Glitch’ follows that up with honestly, a super cool instrumental. I love how they used that throughout the full track. It’s such a dope sound. The full production of this is super nice. “It conveys the message that a new way of existence—’different, not wrong’—makes me shine even brighter.”
Next up is ‘you And I’ where we’re in the perspective of an AI trying to make sense of the illogical feeling of love. This was a very interesting listen!
Now we’re in the part of the album where all the solo tracks come on. All of these tracks debuted during their world tour.
Yeji releases the cool ‘Pocket’, Lia brings a beautiful ballad with ‘Asylum’, Ryujin comes out with the hard ‘Look’, Chaeryoung delivers a stunning delivery of ‘undefined’ and Yuna has her lovely solo track ‘Tangerine’.
