[Review] EPEX – Prelude of Love Chapter 1 ‘Puppy Love’

The boys from EPEX released their new mini-album ‘Prelude of Love Chapter 1 ‘Puppy Love’. Let’s dive right in!

Prelude of Love Chapter 1 ‘Puppy Love’

We start off with ‘First Love’s Law’. This is a fun, lighthearted Hip-Hop track with a very jazzy instrumental. I like this a lot. It’s so fun and has interesting rhythms and vocal tones. How refreshing!

‘Love Bomb’ is up next. This is a pop track with a bouncy rhythm and a youthful energy in the chorus. I love the chanting and just the overall sense of fun! The whistling outro is adorable.

Following that is the title track ‘Hymn To Love’. This track tickles all the right spots in my brain. It is AMAZING! Literally, this is fantastic. The vocal power, the chanting, the ‘sarang’ part in the chorus is insane! Then the jazzy brass comes in at one point just to disappear after like three seconds. I am a fan of this!

The closing track is ‘The Vow’. This is a pop rock fusion with a dash of hip-hop thrown in. I’m very intrigued by the heavy bass thrown in with the instrumentals.

Overall, ‘Prelude of Love Chapter 1 ‘Puppy Love” by EPEX is a fantastic mini-album. They did a really great job! Go listen to it on Spotify here.
