[Review] DKB – Urban Ride

DKB is back with their much-anticipated 8th mini-album, ‘Urban Ride’, their first release in eight months. We are thrilled to dive into the new tracks and see what they have prepared for us. Let’s explore the music!

The single ‘Star’ opens the album with an excellent mix of beats and instrumentals. The pacing of the rapping is lovely and it gets even better with the vocal line’s soft singing. This song feels modern and magical, making it the perfect opening track.

Next up is the title song, ‘Flirting’, which surprises listeners with rock instrumentals and a touch of angst. The singing in this track is fantastic, featuring intense ad-libs and great vocal layering. Listeners are in for a surprising experience with ‘TAEKWONDO’, a track characterized by deep bass, intense hip-hop beats, and fantastic mixing. This song exudes power, with every second filled with adrenaline that only intensifies as the song progresses.

The mini-album concludes with ‘LET’S DANCE’, a pop single featuring cool synths and great vocals. Co-written and produced by some of the members, this song is a total anthem, filled with energy and excitement.
