[Review] DKB – REBEL

The boys from DKB are back with their new mini-album ‘REBEL’. Let’s take a closer look!

REBEL

We start off with the title track ‘Sober’. This fun track where trap and hip-hop meet with a cool flute sample really catches the attention. The catchy hook is awesome and I’m very impressed with the cool piano riffs in the backing track. The rapping is great and leave a lasting impression.

We get a summer R&B track with ‘Get Away’. The synths are airy and lightt and create the perfect beach soundtrack. Get ready to party and jam to some happy tunes.

After that comes the pre-released ‘Rollercoaster’ which we wrote about here.

The closing track is the remix of ‘Sober’ which introduces a more angsty rock version. It’s a cool interpretation. The electric guitar totally shreds away in the backing track and it’s DOPE. Honestly I need a live version with this with a live band. That’d be so freaking awesome.

Overall, I’m quite happy by the new mini ‘REBEL’ by DKB. It’s a fun, impressive listen.

Go ahead and check it out here.
