[Review] Classmate – 셋 그리고 하나 : 삼원색 Page 1. 찬란

The ballad group Classmate is back with their new EP ‘셋 그리고 하나 : 삼원색 Page 1. 찬란’ which according to Google Translate means this: ‘Three and One: Three Primary Colors Page 1. Brilliant’.

셋 그리고 하나 : 삼원색 Page 1. 찬란

We start off with the ‘Intro’. It’s a beautiful melody with stunning vocals. It clocks in just over one minute and to be honest, I would have liked it to be a bit longer. It’s just so soothing.

Next up is the title track ‘Splendor’ that came with this new clip. Lee Jaesong, one of the Classmate members composed all three songs on the EP. He also wrote the lyrics for the ‘Intro’. ‘Splendor’ is a beautiful ballad and really lets them display their vocal chops. I’m very impressed.

The last original track is ‘위로가 필요한 나에게’. This is Jaesong’s solo and is total OST material. I like the guitars in the background because they add that extra kind of depth.

After that we get the instrumentals of the title track and Jaesong’s solo.

You can find the EP on Spotify here.
