[Review] AHOF – The Passage

After a very successful debut, AHOF is back with new music in their second mini-album ‘The Passage’. For this release, the members actively participated in the songwriting, making it even more personal and exciting. Let’s dive in and explore this dreamy collection of tracks.

The Passage

The album opens with ‘Everything is Love’, a song that feels like stepping into a fairytale. With its synth-driven arrangement, delicate vocals, and a lush, dreamlike atmosphere, this track sets a magical tone for what’s to come.

Next, ‘Run at 1.5x Speed’ switches things up with funky guitar riffs, brass instrumentals, and high-energy vocals that radiate joy. The rap and vocal interplay is top-tier, a total serotonin boost that feels both playful and musically tight

The title track ‘Pinocchio’ follows, introducing sentimental tones and a strong band-based instrumental. This song blends melodic rapping, gorgeous ad-libs, and powerful vocals into a beautifully emotional experience. The composition feels cinematic, perfectly balancing vulnerability and intensity.

Never Lose You’ takes listeners deeper into the dreamy atmosphere with stunning synth textures, layered harmonies, and heartfelt vocals that radiate emotion. It’s soft yet impactful, showing the group’s ability to deliver warmth through precision.

Finally, ‘The Sleeping Diary’ closes the mini-album on a tender note. The track builds from soft, emotional verses into a soaring bridge, the vocals are rich, expressive, and deeply moving, making for a satisfying and memorable ending.

With ‘The Passage’, AHOF embraces a softer, more sentimental concept that highlights their vocal and musical growth. Each song feels like a piece of a dream, heartfelt, ethereal, and beautifully produced. This comeback is one you won’t want to miss.
