In this week’s Rapper In The Spotlight, we are sharing the career and music of the rapper KittiB.
Kim Bomi (aka. KittiB) debuted in 2012 with the single ‘I’m Her’ featuring well-known R&B artist Zion.T. Soon after this debut single she released the single ‘Leopard Gun’ and ‘Wake Me Up’.
In 2014, she teamed up with M.I.B’s Sims for the single ‘Must Be Nice’.
Unpretty Rapstar 2
In 2015, she joined the agency Brand New Music and dropped the single album ‘Back To Basic’.
Later on the year, Bomi was part of the cast for the second season of the show ‘Unpretty Rapstar 2’, she ended up in second place. Below you can watch a few of our favourite performances.
KittiB gained a lot of attention after her participation in the show. In 2016, she was casted to be a producer on the show ‘Tribe of Hip Hop’, that same year she released the single ‘Doin’ Good’ featuring the rapper Verbal Jint.
In late 2016, she released the single ‘Nobody’s Perfect’, in this track she opens up about her insecurities and self love. Watch the MV below.
She started off 2017 with the release of the single ‘5 Centimeters Per Second’.
New endeavours
She stepped away from the spotlight for a while, however, in 2019 she released the single ‘Anymore’ which was part of her single album ‘1718 [SALEM]’.
The R&B single ‘Psycho’ featuring Vincent Blue was her next single, watch their very smooth live performance below.
Kittib’s latest release was in 2020, ‘Make Me Better; is the title of this single.
