Early Beginnings
Kim Kyung-hoon, better known as Dsel, officially debuted in 2017 with the EP ‘00’. Before this release, he collaborated with CJB95 in 2016 on the single ‘Ready To 20blossom’. Right from the start, Dsel’s unique approach stood out, incorporating heavy lo-fi vibes and underground hip-hop influences.
His next projects included the collaborative album ‘Farm’ with Khundi Panda and the mixtape ‘Terminal’, both solidifying his presence in the indie hip-hop scene.
Show Me The Money & 2020 Releases
In 2020, Dsel gained wider recognition by competing in Show Me The Money 9. He made it to the Team Diss Battle stage, leaving behind some unforgettable performances
That same year, he dropped the single ‘Problem’, which stood out for its refreshing tone and intricate beat mix, followed by ‘Coaster’ featuring Khakii, Munchman, and Chillin Homie.
First Full-Length Album & 2022 Growth
In 2022, Dsel returned with his first full-length album, ‘2kzm.zip’, marking a new chapter in his career. This release showcased his artistic growth and fresh production styles.
That same year, he teamed up with Freddi Casso for the album ‘SECOND II NONE’, bringing another layer to his evolving sound.
In 2023, Dsel released the single album ‘L7’, featuring dual title tracks that continued his tradition of blending fresh, innovative sounds with his signature style.
Latest Releases & Upcoming Album
After a one-year break, Dsel returned with pre-release singles ‘tortiLLa’ featuring Ambid Jack and ‘hoLLow’, both leading up to his highly anticipated album ‘L7E3’.
