No Joo-ae, also known as Avokid, burst onto the scene under the banner of Planet8 with her captivating single ‘Color’. But even before her official debut, she’d already graced Soundcloud with a couple of smooth singles that hinted at her musical prowess.
Her debut was swiftly followed by equally impressive singles ‘timid’ and ‘Sorry, too late’.
First EP
At the close of 2020, Avokid unveiled her first EP, titled ‘?!’, featuring the double title tracks ‘?’ and ‘!’. Right from her debut, she showcased a distinctive melodic rapping style characterized by a delicate tone and an impeccable flow.
Following her EP, she collaborated on the single ‘Reflection’ with Minit, and together they dropped the ‘www’ mini-album, as well as the single ‘Hate You’, featuring Jayci Yucca.
Avokid’s subsequent releases mostly consisted of singles, including ‘RIP’, ‘Cola’, ‘Why’, ‘Villain’, and ‘Over You’.
