We are back with a new rapper in the spotlight and this week we want to share the career and works of a very talented female rapper with an amazing flow and unique style. Let’s dive into ASH-B’s discography.
Unpretty Rapstar
Joo Yoon-jung (aka. ASH-B) debuted independently in 2014 with the single album ‘Who Here’ featuring AXAX Kuddy.
In 2015 she became a participant in the survival show Unpretty Rapstar in its second season, where she competed with well-known artists such as Hyolyn, Heize and many more.
She was eliminated in the third episode, but decided to go back in 2016 for the third season of the show. This time she made it to the semi-finals and left some very incredible stages to remember. Check a few of them below.
This same year she participated in the single ‘It’s the Freestyle’ for the online game Freestyle with the rapper DinDin.
First EP
She came back in 2018 with her first EP ‘EVERYTHING’, this release had as title song the single ‘BLOCKED’ featuring Cherry Coke.
During the same year she dropped the singles ‘MISS YOU’ featuring CHOILB and ‘UP’. Her releases during this year showed off different sides of her rapping style, and the unique flow and ability to change style and deliver flawlessly in all of them. Check these singles below.
One of her most well-known releases is the single ‘BOOTY’ featuring Mckdaddy released in 2019. The concept and rap flow of this song is just awesome, an absolute vibe. Check it below.
In 2020, she came back with the single album ‘Ok Bish’, which was followed by the single ‘Fake Friend’ and ‘Make it Pop’ featuring RAUDI.
Latest releases
In 2021, ASH-B dropped the second EP ‘Brat of the Year’, this release included features by well-known rappers Don Mills, Paloalto and more. This release was followed by the very Christmassy single ‘Santa Baby’.
