OSTs We Loved Part 2

We’re back with Part 2 of our favorite K-drama OSTs. The first part was written by Kathleen and you can find that here. This time, I get to share some of my favorite, perfectly replayable original soundtracks.

Let’s go!

Number 1: The Rose – Strangers (Strangers From Hell)

The Rose did such a good job encapsulating the feeling of dread and lurking insanity in their song ‘Strangers’. The rock feel is a perfect fit and the balance between the vocals and the guitar and drums works so well. If you want to read our full review for the K-drama, click here.

Number 2: O3ohn – Somewhere (The Guest)

This is one of those cases where the soundtrack made me start watching the drama. I heard the OST first and completely fell in love with O3ohn’s voice because it’s magnificent.

Number 3: NCT U – Radio Romance (Radio Romance)

This song makes me feel so happy and despite a slight overuse in the drama ‘Radio Romance’ (it’s played ALL the time) I still listen to it a lot. Taeil and Doyoung’s voices together are so perfect together, the harmonies are beautiful and the guitar is crazy cheerful.

Number 4: V (BTS) – Sweet Night (Itaewon Class)

Look, I’m a sucker for BTS and I was a sucker for ‘Itaewon Class’. So it’s only fair if two of my loves combine, I just have to feature it, especially in a list like this. Not putting it in wasn’t even an option.

Number 5: (G)I-dle – Help Me (Her Private Life)

My girls from (G)I-dle did such a good job with their song ‘Help Me’. It helps that the drama itself was wholesome and the fangirl life very familiar. I do wanna give an honorable mention to IN2IT with their song ‘Snapshot’ because they were literally in the drama.

That’s it for Part 2 of our favorite K-drama OSTs. I hope you found some new music to enjoy, I know that I’ll be listening to these songs on repeat one after the other for a while despite the very different genres.
