We’re back with a new Ode To The Artist and this time we’re taking a closer look at the alt rock band Shin In Ryu.
Debut
Shin In Ryu debuted in 2018 consisting of Shin Onyu, Moon Junghwan, Lee Ye-chan and Ha Hyeong-eon. The group came out with their first single ‘Your Word’.
The year after they released the single ‘You m=ke Me’, and the EP ‘For us, summer is always short’.
One of their two title tracks for ‘For us, summer is always short’ has the incredible Susan as a feature.
The second title track is ‘Flowords’.
The single ‘Humming’ came out in 2019 as well.
They also came out with two OSTs, one for the series ‘Be Melodramatic’ and one for ‘A Man and a Woman’.
Shin In Ryu released their next EP ‘We Wish.docx’ in 2022.
Their most recent single is ‘Whisper’.
I think Shin In Ryu definitely has a great discography that balances whimsical and alt rock perfectly. To close off with I wanted to share this great live video.
