MV Recommendation: Yuna – (Not) The Love Of My Life

So Yuna is Malaysian and not a K-pop singer but she’s worked together with a couple of amazing Korean singers so she’s not unfamiliar to the scene.

I’ve been following Yuna’s career since ‘Lullaby’ came out in 2012. Her voice is incredible.

The reason I’m slightly diverging from the norm is because her music video for ‘(Not) The Love Of My Life’ might be one of the most stunning videos I have ever seen.

In the MV we see an Indian woman getting ready for a traditional wedding. You’d think that’d be a happy affair, but the bride-to-be is second guessing her decision to marry.

The colors are so stunning. The warm reds and shades of gold fit together so well. It’s dark and intimate which fits the concept since lyrically we’re in the thoughts of the bride.

The groom isn’t really doing a whole lot apart from standing ominously, with most of his face in the shadows.

The traditional Indian dance is gorgeous to watch. So be sure to check out the video!
