This week’s Music Video Recommendation is about ‘Dark Spiral’ by FauloCity. The duo has released some fantastic music, but in this one the video and music really come together to create a stunning work.
The MV for ‘Dark Spiral’ really amplifies the feeling of being trapped and absolutely spiraling. The ink in the water starts off small, before it completely turns everything to blue. I also liked how it plays within the dimension at certain points. I could almost imagine that with 3D glasses, it would be just within reach to touch the ink.
The transition to the wide shots of the waves together with the swelling of the music is beautifully done and totally mesmerizing as well.
