May Korean Indie DisKovery

The month of May is almost over so that means we’re back with our monthly Korean Indie DisKovery. Take a look at our favorite indie releases that you shouldn’t miss out on.

Week 1

MEMI is a new discovery. Her single ‘Hate U’ is such a visceral hate track, I’m absolutely in love.

Jackingcong released their single ‘Hiking’ and it is just such a nice vibe!

Kwon Eunjin came out with the groovy single ‘Tomorrow’. I love her timbre so much. She has such a lovely tone.

Week 2

Summer released the single ‘fishes can walk in their dreams’. This track is haunting and beautiful and creates such an intriguing ambience when listening to it.

Say Sue Me released their new album ‘The Last Thing Left’. We released an indie pick about them here.

6band came out with the track ‘The great actor Kim Kwang Kyu’ which was very unexpected but I’m living for it.

Week 3

Kim Seokjune released the trippy ‘I’m a sweetbrier’ featuring Kyo. Get your good headphones out!

We Are The Night are back with ‘Who Are You’.
