In this week’s label deep dive we are diving into the indie label ‘Wedaplugg Records’, its beginnings and talent.
‘Wedaplugg Records’ came to life after an idea by the rapper Swing who wanted to create a crew that could become a hip-hop label. This idea became reality in 2017, when Lil Cherry and Jito Mo officially created the label.
This agency started off as an independent and self-produced label meaning that each artist worked on his/her own releases.
Soon after the establishment of the agency, Lil Cherry and Jito Mo left the label. Giriboy and Swings took over their places, and Giriboy ended up becoming the CEO of Wedaplugg Records.
Currently the label is home of the soloists Jhnovr, K.vsh, Lil Tachi, OLNL, Yeleun and Yunhway, and the producer Saewoo.
