For this week’s Label Deep Dive, we are writing about a recently formed hip-hop record label with an impressive artist line-up. Let’s dive into Daytona Entertainment.
Created by hip-hop legend The Quiett and rapper YUMDDA, Daytona Entertainment was officially founded in November 2020.
One of the first artists recruited was Futuristic Swaver, his first release under this record label was the album ‘YFGOD’ released in late 2020.
MELOH was the next artist signed, in early 2021 he dropped his self titled EP ‘MELOH’.
During this same year, BRADYSTREET, Skinny Brown, TOIL, JAEHA, H3hyeon, Touch The Sky and FANA joined the label. They didn’t just drop their own music, but they also worked on a couple of collaborative projects between them, for example the collab between H3hyeon and Touch the Sky.

At the beginning of 2022, the Daytona family expanded with the addition of Gist to the line-up, his first release was the EP ‘Beginning’.
Paloalto is the latest addition in this record label, his first release under Daytona Entertainment was the EP ‘Dirt’.
Daytona Entertainment keeps growing, and their main focus is to let their artists have their own creative freedom and produce the music they want. They are taking a different creative direction, with a line-up that is diverse in sound.
The artists are free to work on their own music without collabing with other in-house talent. Some of them have done it, like TOIL and Gist, but Daytona have put more focus on their identity as individuals rather than creating a crew image.
