‘KINGDOM: Legendary war’ started today and we got to see a bit more of the introduction performances and their backstages.
The program started off with The Boyz coming back to their well-known stage, then Stray Kids followed with ATEEZ, BTOB, SF9 and lastly iKON.
Before the performances started the presenters announced the voting system for this season. This time 25% is decided by the competing teams, 25% by a panel of specialists, 40% comes from domestic and global fan voting and the last 10% comes from the streaming. In this season of ‘KINGDOM’ there will be no eliminations which is honestly amazing. I’m here for a season of healthy competition without having our hearts wrecked because our favorite is gone.
The producers asked the members of each group to guess who they believed would be the first three teams. The rank ended with Stray Kids, BOTB and iKON, ranking third, second and first, respectively. As an outcome, iKON was able to choose which group was performing first.
ATEEZ
ATEEZ performance as expected went flawless, with an impressive choreography and a lot of power in their movements. We were in awe about their live vocals and their stage presence.
BTOB
BTOB went off with their vocals, they are vocal KINGS. Peniel’s rapping at the beginning set the mood of the performance. Their harmonious ending was breathtaking.
SF9
SF9’s ‘Good Guy’ took the stage next, with a very synchronized and cool performance. They all looked like they had walked straight off the runway with their suit and ties.
Stray Kids
Stray Kids’ ‘MIROH’ was next, and this was a killer performance. The members were really worried about the stage but it turned out fantastically. They are just too GOOD. Big Shoutout to Bang Chan for being such a wholesome leader.
The Boyz
The Boyz came next with the epic version of their hit single ‘STEALER’. There were some amazing stunts and they were super in sync with each other. We loved the moment where they played with the camera angle and used their hands as big props. Also that ballet inspired dance break was stunning.
iKON
iKON closed off the stages with a performance of ‘RHYTHM TA’. And in this stage they were really enjoying themselves. It was a very fun and cool performance where they were just being themselves.
The episode ended with only half of the rankings revealed. In 5th place we have ATEEZ, 4th place ended up for SF9 and BTOB ended up third. Now it’s guesswork to see who will end up in first, second and sixth place. We’ll see that next week, in a brand new episode of ‘KINGDOM: Legendary War’. But, friendly reminder, no one will be eliminated this season.
