We’re back with the latest K-indie chart and this time we’re taking a closer look at the bestselling albums of the month May.

We got quite a shake-up this month! Our old familiar faces are wave to earth, Ahn Dayoung, Jannabi and Charlie Bean Works. However, we also get the new releases by Isaac Hong, Heegyu
Isaac Hong released his album ‘Castle In The Air’ towards the end of April. The album has five new tracks and “captures the process of finding the will to live by affirming my imperfect self.”

Heegyu also released her album ‘The Broken Hitchhiking’ in April. She wrote in her album description that this comeback shows her “humble resolve that romance—such as childlike innocence, love, and memories—richly permeates the gaps of daily life, and that our lives are worth sustaining firmly by feeding on these emotions.”

‘BEST COLLECTION’ by Younghyoun Yoo came out in May. It’s his first solo release since his time with Jannabi.

HeMeets released the album ‘Disco Mania’ and it’s a whopping 20 tracks and over an hour long. This is their second full album since their debut in 2016.
