Jin from BTS came back with his new single ‘The Astronaut’. In his ‘Thank You’ note in the album he wrote that he collaborated with Chris Martin from Coldplay easily and that they worked together to put Jin’s love for ARMY in a song. Jin is co-credited for the lyrics and the composition.
‘The Astronaut’ is a wonderful pop rock track with a wonderfully warm guitar, very much in line with Coldplay’s usual style. The vocals are super soft and I’ll be looking forward to one day hear this live.
The music video is utterly adorable and rife with little easter eggs and beautiful metaphors. Jin in the suit that’s just a tad too short was unbelievably cute.
