IVE drops the bop ‘After LIKE’

The girls from IVE are back again with their new single album ‘After LIKE’. They’ve been releasing hit after hit and we’re stoked to see them back.

The single album contains two new tracks. The title track ‘After LIKE’ is a total, total bop. They used a sample from the iconic ‘I will survive’ by Gloria Gaynor from 1978. If the riff sounds familiar, this is why.

IVE really said let’s go for a mix of disco with deep House and a contemporary pop jacket. It’s a super fun combination and it’s really well done. I also thoroughly enjoyed the rap verse on the sample from ‘I will survive’. What a vibe.

The next track on the single album is ‘MY satisfaction’. We’re going pop punk in this one and it’s a fresh new style. I like the minimalist instrumentals during the verses and the vocal layering during the chorus. It’s a solid bop.
