You may know Youkyung from her fantastic drum covers of many well known songs, she is also a former member of the girl group AOA. Her talent is undeniable and we are thrilled to see her releasing her own music.
‘Connect’ is the title of this single album including the singles ‘Connect’, ‘Out Of My Mind’ and ‘Universe’.
The first single and also the title track of this release goes off with a touch of EDM beats mixed with the drums instrumental. What a piece! It feels like an anime intro that is taking you through a story.
‘Out Of My Mind’ plays next play next with the same fantastic instrumentation and the addition of an electric guitar that had me shook. It is an extremely cool song, very cool and unique.
Last on this single album is ‘Universe’, this track’s instrumentals are an absolute trip, electronic music festival quality, with a lot of EDM and synth perfectly balanced with the drums.
