Shows like ‘The King of Mask Singer’ are the reason why I enjoy variety shows so much. The idea of choosing a ‘King/Queen Singer’ based on their vocal abilities rather than the person behind the mask it’s just genius and it also allows the public to truly appreciate the talent of the contestants.
This week’s cover of the week is by Son Seung Yeon, her interpretation of ‘Y Si Fuera Ella’ a song originally sung by Kim Jonghyun (Shinee) is just beyond incredible. This song in particular requires a powerful voice and a lot of emotion, and this girl was able to pull a performance as powerful as the one by Jonghyun.

This cover overall is powerful, emotional and touching. It’s one of the best versions I’ve seen of this song. If you enjoyed her performance, make sure to check her other appearances in other music shows. She is INCREDIBLY talented and one of the best voices I have ever heard.
