H1GHR Music rapper Sik-K is back with his brand new album ‘Officially OG’. We were highly anticipating this comeback. We knew it was going to be incredible and we weren’t wrong. Let’s dive right in.
‘VJ IS CLASSIC’ starts off this release and as expected it goes hard. The layering in this song is incredible! It has an underground hip-hop vibe I love. I feel like the track used would fit perfectly for a freestyle battle, and the addition of autotune for some parts of the song were just lit.
Next on the list is ‘NO HOOK’ featuring Paloalto and The Quiett. Something I really loved about this song is how the features worked together so well. Every single part of it flows incredibly, and I’m really looking forward to seeing this one’s live performance . I know it will be FIRE.
‘HEAR ME’ follows it and it’s also the title song of this album. The electric guitar in the background is amazing. Sik-K’s voice feels like a sweet whisper to the ears. Make sure to listen to it with noise cancelling headphones and enjoy the full experience. Here is the MV.
Featuring one of my favs, Simon Dominic, ‘30MIN’ starts and changes the feel of this album with a groovy vibe and acoustic instruments that I did not expect but I really loved. ‘SOAP SEOUL’ follows it and once more we go hard, but this time the hip-hop and lo-fi tunes are mixed so well that it feels like the perfect balance. Neither of them are overbearing but rather complementing each other.
“SEASON OFF” is the next track and Sik-K shows off the incredible rapper he is in this song. This guy can rap and no one can’t say otherwise.
‘DO MAIN 2020’ featuring Lil Boi, Ugly Duck, Zico and Take One leaves a strong impression from the beginning. This full track felt like a producer’s cypher made for Show Me The Money. It’s just freaking LEGENDARY.
Closing this album, ‘WATER’, the bonus track featuring H1GHR MUSIC talent Woodie Gochild, pH-1, HAON and AOMG’s Jay Park, starts off and with this song I’m ready to dive into the summer season, go to the beach and have a drink. It is just the perfect summer release.
