Album Review: Monsta X – Follow – Find You

Monsta X is back! They released their album ‘Follow – Find You’ on Monday.

Monbebes are well fed, because they dropped two music videos.

Monsta X dropped the MV for ‘Find You’ last week and I was on the edge of my seat for the entire five minutes and 44 seconds. It expands the Monsta X storyline and I have so many theories going through my mind right now.

Where ‘Find You’ is very soft and almost sad, ‘Follow’ their title track is the opposite. It’s a banger. Also the MV looks amazing!! The rapline went off and I’ve been obliterated. The instrumentals during the chorus are very piercing and I am living for it. I know that’s a contradiction, but what can I do…

Monsta Truck’ is the third track on the album ‘Follow – Find You’. This song is so sexy. Honestly it’s literally about sex. Go take a look at the lyrics.

‘U R’ proves yet again that Monsta X has their duality on point. ‘U R’ is so soft, even the rap parts have me caught in my feelings.

Jooheon is starting off ‘Disaster’, immediately followed by I.M and I wasn’t ready. What a funky song. The amount of sass that is in this, whew!

Burn It Up’ is the sixth track of the album. Definitely wasn’t expecting the church bells. The song goes hard though. What an amazing B-track. Kihyun and his honey vocals are back!

Mirror’ is way softer. It’s definitely more vocal heavy. I’m loving the saxophone in the background. And when I.M starts monologuing I wasn’t ready. What a gorgeous song! Also Wonho collaborated on this song. I’m so proud!

The album is closed off with ‘See You Again’ which is a very appropriate title. Because as most Monbebes I’ll be waiting for their next comeback. The lyrics are so sad, I’m feeling a lot of things. Somehow it tastes like a bittersweet goodbye.

I’m so proud of the boys for this comeback. I love every single track and I.M and Jooheon have writing credits on almost every song. They’ve done really well.
