We’re back with our latest Actor Spotlight and this time I wanted to take a closer look at the filmography of none other than Park Hee-soon.
Debut
Park Hee-soon actually debuted on stage in 1990 with Mokwha Repertory Company. He spent eleven years there performing, before debuting on the big screen in 2002 with a role in the film ‘Three‘.
For his performance in the film ‘A Family’ in 2004, he was nominated for Best New Actor at the Korean Film Awards for the first time.
One of his breakout roles was in the film ‘Seven Days’ in 2007. He won the Best Actor Award at the Blue Dragon Film Awards and at the Korea Film Awards.
In 2010 he starred in the film ‘A Barefoot Dream’ about the true story of Kim Shin-wan, a Korean footballer who goes to East Timor to launch a football team.
