There was a brand new debut today with the girls of HEART OF WOMAN with their debut album ‘Heart Byte : LEGACY’. Let’s take a closer look!
HEART OF WOMAN is a five-member girl group consisting of Jihyun, Chaei, Ayne, Liri, and Liuyin.
Heart Byte : LEGACY
We start off with the track ‘ALIVE’. This is a cool R&B track with a nice progression and nice vocals.
‘SHOW H.O.W’ is up next with a more intense energy. They’re dialing up the charisma.
‘Told U So’ comes along and shows their more pop side with a funky guitar in the instrumental. I enjoyed the vocals in the bridge a lot! They were very impressive.
Next up is ‘TEA’. The melody in the chorus is a total earworm and had me going ‘tea-hee’ for a big chunk of the evening. This was such a fun listen!
‘My Vision’ goes for a more grungy drumpad beat. The momentum of the track was cool and I like how this has the perfect pace to strut down the street.
‘Skit.exe’ literally blessed my ears with some next level vocals and harmonies.
Next up is the title track ‘Lost in proof’. I love the R&B influences and the jazzy instrumentals. This is a fab title track!
The music video is visuals galore. They’re so pretty!
‘($.$)’ is a fun synth pop track. It has a cool bounce to it and makes for an easy listen.
‘Close To Me’ slows things down a little bit and delivers with a mid-tempo synth pop track.
We’re going groovy with ‘One Beat’. This has an effortless flow and an interesting, playful rhythm to it. It’s one of my personal favorites of the album.
The closing track is ‘Dive with me’. This feels very Y2K and it’s an absolute bop.
