Shownu and Hyungwon from MONSTA X are back with their second unit mini-album ‘LOVE ME’. We’re super stoked, because they always deliver with vibes and their vocals. Let’s jump right in!
LOVE ME
We start off with the title track ‘Do You Love Me’. They clearly graduated from the slayonomics. This is super dope, groovy and the visuals are stunning. Fantastic job!
‘Superstitious’ comes up next with a retro summer vibe. This was a super nice listen and I love how well their vocals fit this vintage sound.
After that we get ‘In My Head’. I absolutely loved the progression of the full track. The very echoey bridge was such a nice touch!
‘Breathe’ brings in the R&B mixed with Afrobeats and a summery feel. “It captures instinctive attraction and a sensual atmosphere within understated expressions.”
With ‘Accelerator’ we’re getting a dream pop track with a UK garage groove. This is a very cool track with a killer beat.
The two following tracks are their solos they performed during the ‘[THE X : NEXUS]’ world tour.
