Jinyoung of GOT7 is back with solo music in his new EP, ‘Said & Done’. This marks his second mini-album and first full comeback since 2023, and we could not wait to dive into the music. Let’s get right into it!

The release opens with the stunning piano-driven intro track, ‘And Now‘. Though short in length, the song leaves a powerful impression thanks to its emotional vocal delivery and cinematic atmosphere, perfectly setting the tone for the rest of the EP.
We then move into the title track, ‘EVERLOVE‘, which leans into retro synth-pop influences with beautiful vocals and a charming rhythm that had us completely smitten. Sweet, playful, and effortlessly catchy, the single becomes even more captivating through its music video, where JINYOUNG delivers both a mesmerizing performance and absolutely peak visuals.
Featuring Wonpil of DAY6, ‘Seventeen‘ arrives as a true standout on the EP. The track embraces soft pop-rock sounds with warm instrumentals and an incredibly candid emotional flow that lingers long after the song ends. The chemistry between both vocalists adds an extra layer of comfort and sincerity to the listening experience.
‘Different Track‘ introduces jazzy influences into the project, and honestly, we are loving this direction for JINYOUNG. The song feels elegant and sleek, while his vocal tone and delivery elevate the entire atmosphere to another level. There’s a subtle sophistication throughout the track that makes it especially memorable.
‘Will I Be Okay?‘ leans fully into dreamy pop territory, blending retro-inspired textures with smooth instrumentals and an effortless rhythm. The song flows with ease, creating a comforting and immersive listening experience packed with soft, nostalgic vibes.
Closing the release is ‘One-sided Love‘, featuring Choi Yu Ree. The acoustic-driven track carries gentle emotions and delicate vocal performances that beautifully enhance the song’s emotional weight. Together, Yu Ree and JINYOUNG create a heartfelt harmony that feels comforting and deeply sincere, like a warm hug at the end of the album.
With ‘Said & Done’, JINYOUNG delivers an absolute masterpiece of a release. Every track brings something unique to the table, while still complementing one another beautifully to create a cohesive and emotionally rich listening experience.
