CRAVITY is back with their latest mini-album ‘ReDeFINE’. Let’s take a closer look!
ReDeFINE
We start with the track ‘Hello-Goodbye’. We’re going for a House track with cool instrumentation with pizzicato strings. The build-up towards the chorus was fun and overall this was a really cool listen.
Next up is the title track ‘AWAKE’ which is an alternative pop track with a dark synth sound and a really cool chorus. I enjoyed the rap sections and the layering of the instrumentals.
‘Fever’ comes next and “captures the emotion of falling deeply into an irresistible heat. With every touch, inner senses awaken, and the boundaries between love and obsession gradually blur.” I like how groovy this song is!
After that comes ‘Adore’. The hybrid pop track has some really cool guitars in the chorus, making for a fun dynamic with the synth heavy verses.
‘Love Me Like You Do’ was written by Taeyoung, Serim, Wonjin, Allen and JQ. The pop rock track “captures the sincere feelings for one person one cannot let go of, as memories of moments of love, regret, and lingering emotions intersect.”
The closing track is ‘Spring, with you’ which was written by Wonjin and Allen. It’s a future bass track with a lot of synths and a lot of love for their fandom.
