ITZY’s latest release was a great surprise for me. I liked their previous releases, but I feel like this one could start solidifying the path of this 2019 Rookie Monster group.
Their choreo for their title track ‘WANNABE’ is our feature today because I absolutely loved the flow and changes of the choreography. The performance leaves a strong first impression as soon as it starts, and it does not stop as it develops.
The members barely stop throughout the full music video and they have many position changes which levels up the difficulty of this choreo. They make it look effortless, beautiful and synchronized making the full performance video a visual experience.
The choreography mixes the movements characteristic of Hip-Hop with urban dance, and it also adds the cute and elegant hand movements that characterised ITZY’s previous choreos, making for a perfect mix for the song.
