Woosung is back to wow us with his latest album ‘4444’. Let’s take a closer look and check it out!

We start off with the track ‘Paper Cuts’ featuring New Vaticans. I’m really digging this opening with the distorted vocals and the piano. The switch-up of rhythm had me a little bit shook, but it’s a really cool combination.
‘Before we die’ starts off as a rock ballad but then switches things up and turns into a trance EDM track. It’s a super sick moment and I literally added this right into my favorites playlist. This is awesome and Woosung’s vocals are just beyond this world.
‘Day that I died’ was pre-released last month. Watch the video below.
Next up is the title track ’44 (Forget Forever)’. I don’t know why I was still surprised with the EDM direction this track went to, but I was. This is such a good genre for his vocals though. The balance between the intensity during the verses and the chorus was well done.
The video is stunning. Watch it below.
‘Never Let Go’ starts with a really dope build-up and makes me reminisce to long roadtrips during the summer in the 2010s. Honestly this would be so much fun during a festival.
We slow things down a little bit with ‘Found You’. The intro immediately tugs at the heartstrings with Woosung’s emotive vocals. The chorus is amazing especially with the measured synths in the backing track. When the build-up comes to a close during the bridge it’s well-deserved.
The first feature on the album is by none other than B.I in ‘Happy Alone’. We’re going for an acoustic gospel vibe with this one. Woosung has a bit of a rasp to his voice and it only adds to the depth. I really enjoyed the piano in the backing track. This feels a bit like a confessional. B.I’s feature is fantastic.
We close off the album with ‘Let there be light’ featuring BOL4. I am going to quietly die over this collab. I love it! Their vocals blend so well together and this EDM track is just one awesome ride.
