[Offstage] YUNGIN

We are back with a new OffStage edition, and this time, we’re spotlighting a producer who’s been catching our attention with his unique vibe and style. Let’s take a closer look at Kim Yung-in (aka. Yungin) and his fascinating career journey.

Yungin’s Journey

Although Yungin officially debuted as a rapper in 2024 under AimKorea, his roots in music go way back. Since 2007, Yungin has been an active producer and mixing engineer, crafting tracks for a variety of artists and projects. His exceptional skills have earned him a Grammy Award, marking him as one of the most accomplished names in the industry.

Debut & Collaborations

Yungin made his official debut as a rapper with the collaborative single “No Lowkey” featuring Jessi and CAMO. He quickly gained momentum, releasing several collaborative singles such as:

  • “Homesick” with Paul Blanco and CHANGMO
  • “Love Me No More” with SINCE and sokodomo
  • “Run It Up” with BM and Bobby
  • “Kingpin” featuring Loopy
  • “Stand Out” with Jay Park

Each track showcases Yungin’s ability to blend smooth beats with catchy hooks, building his reputation in both Hip-Hop and K-Pop circles. 

Notable Production Credits

As a producer, Yungin’s influence extends to a broad range of artists, including top names in Hip-Hop like Loopy, Junoflo, and Los. His work isn’t limited to Hip-Hop, though. Yungin has produced tracks for KAI, and members of BTS: RM, Jimin, and J-Hope. His sound versatility is evident in the way he adapts to different styles while still maintaining his signature touch.
