Former NCT/WayV member Lucas is finally back into the music industry, but this time as a soloist. Even though he will be missed as a member in the neocity, as an NCTzen I’m happy to see him restart his career as a solo artist.
‘Renegade’ marks the start of a new start for him, and we are looking forward to check which new colour and styles Lucas will be showing in this single album through the three singles included in it.
The title track kicks off this releases, with the same title as this release, this single plays with a mix of hip-hop beats and hip-hop instrumentals, the mixing and style in this track is super interesting, with dark vibes and strong impact. Lucas’ rapping is dope in this single, he went off and poured his full energy in it! The music video shows his growth in two different productions with great visuals, tight dancing and great effects. ‘Dip It Low’ takes over to deliver deep bass, breathy vocal and awesome build-up. The flow in this track is fantastic and will have you totally vibing.
The single album reaches its end with ‘Crushing On You’, adding smooth tunes into this release paired with great singing and peak vibes. The reggae inspired tempo and style is fantastic and extra refreshing!
