I’m back with Part 2 of Korean Indie/Rock bands you should listen to. If you’d like to go back to Part 1, you can click here.
As always, our main goal at M.E.A.L. is to share good music, so if you also want to share your favorites go ahead. I’ll definitely check them out.
N.FLYING
Honestly I love these dudes so much. How they went from ‘Hot Potato’ to ‘LIKE A FLOWER’ or ‘Rooftop’ is beyond me but it does show their huge range.
Here’s their Spotify.
The Black Skirts
This is vibe music, I have no other words to describe it. If you like ‘Queen Of Diamonds’ definitely check out ‘Everything’ and ‘Who Do You Love’.
Here’s their Spotify.
Echae En Route
Get ready for a silky voice that is combined with an incredibly versatile violin.
She also has a lot of solo works and she even composed pieces for an orchestra, so go check out her YouTube channel. If you want to have chills and discover something completely new, listen to the song ‘The Violin’. Talk about beautiful storytelling.
Here’s their Spotify.
Hippy Was Gipsy
I discovered these guys on the ‘Signhere’ survival show. Their music is great.
Here’s their Spotify.
Night Off
They remind me a bit of ‘The Black Skirts’ but if they were a bit groovier.
Here’s their Spotify.
PRIDE BAND
These girls made my pastel band dreams come true. ❤
Definitely go take a look at their YouTube account, because they do awesome covers as well.
Sadly they haven’t released anything on their Spotify page yet.
We Are The Night
They are so criminally underrated it should be illegal.
Here’s their Spotify.
JANNABI
You might already know Jannabi because their latest comeback was really well received.
Here’s their Spotify.
415
415’s music just makes me so soft.
Here’s their Spotify.
There’s a part 3 coming next Sunday, so don’t worry if your favorite band isn’t in this one. There’s just too many good musicians out there so I’m doing my part and putting all of them in the spotlight. There’s so much good Korean Rock out there!!
