Former INFINITE member HOYA released his solo single album ‘1AM’. The album has three songs on it.
The first single ‘Someday’ gives us a stunning R&B ballad with some outstanding vocals. It’s a really smooth listen.
‘Stay with me’ is the title track of the single album. The fade-out of ‘Someday’ transitions so well into the beginning of ‘Stay with me’. Style-wise this falls very much in line with the previous track as well. The entire track feels very honest and raw.
Lastly we get the song ‘I don’t give a’. The harmonies in the opening gave me chills. The layering is so well done in this one. This is more of a dance track with the driving beat. It’s such a vibe, I love it.
‘!AM’ by HOYA is a really cohesive single album. It’s a beautiful R&B listen. HOYA wrote and composed all of the tracks himself. He even directed the music video.
