1. Taeyong – Long Flight
The first song this week is a solo venture by NCT member Taeyong. His song ‘Long Flight’ is a bop. This release was a great surprise to my ears. It showed a completely different side and vibe of Taeyong and I really liked the concept behind it.
It is such a chill song and has become one of my favourite songs. The music video is stunning, colourful and simple. It’s the perfect mix. It lets the viewers appreciate the vocal/ rapping and almost jazzy style of the song.
2. X1 – Flash
X1 is the new idol group formed through the survival show ‘Produce 101’ and their debut song ‘Flash’ is our second recommendation this week.
This track is nothing but powerful. The concept, visuals, choreo and vocals are incredible. X1 got so much attention after ‘Produce 101’ that they even ranked in Billboard’s Social 50 and the chart for Emerging Artists (#Power).
3. Ailee – Room Shaker
The Queen Ailee came back this summer with her album ‘Butterfly’ and her title track ‘Room Shaker’ is an absolute bop. I loved the style of this song and the music video is super fun to watch. The colours are stunning and the concept is super cute. It’s a completely different Ailee than we’re used to, but we’re here for it.
