[Review] YERIN – ARIA

Former GFriend member YERIN is debuting as a solo artist with the mini-album ‘ARIA‘. She is starting off a brand new chapter of her career and we are trilled to check out the music she has prepared for such a special ocassion.

Let’s listen to this release.

ARIA

With main character vibes we get ‘Intro : Bloom‘ and its gorgeous and very movie-like orchestration. This track blends to EDM and smoothly transition to the title song ‘ARIA‘. For this single we get a very catchy rhythm, synth and a summer release style. I really liked how sweet and charming this single is and her singing and full style is just adorable.

For their music video, YERIN shines with gorgeous outfits and beautifully done sets. The concept and style suits her style extremely well and makes the song even more charismatic. Watch it below.

Starting of with a very cool guitar riff, we get ‘Believer‘. The pop rock feel in this song is fantastic and it is also a fun contrast to the style in the title track. Her singing in this song is just incredible, she killed those high notes and left me absolutely shook.

R&B takes over in ‘Lalala‘ and this song is nothing but smooth music and airy vocals. The perfect single to vibe to. Last is ‘Time‘ closing this release on a very soft note with very minimalistic instrumentation and breathtaking vocalisation. The cherry on top for this debut EP.

YERIN definitely pulled through a dynamic release in different genres. ‘ARIA’ is definitely a very enjoyable listen, so make sure to check it out here.
