Vocal queen Suran is back with her new EP ‘FLYIN’ PART 1‘. She has been dropping singles over the last year and we were really looking forward to this release.
Just last year she established her own music label S-TACY, and since then she has dropped a couple of singles which are also included in this release. ‘FLYIN’ PART 1‘ follows up the EP’s ‘Walkin” and ‘Jumpin”, and we are absolutely curious to listen to which direction her music will take this time.
Suran always surprise us with every release, let’s dive in and check what she has prepared for this one.
FLYIN’ PART 1
Opening this release ‘Let it fly‘ begins with a mix of electro-pop, R&B and a touch of hip-hop. Suran really went for an alternative sound with this single and I LOVED her vocals and the perfect blending of the beats. This song has the perfect amount of everything and it is a very strong starting point.

Featuring NCT’s Taeyong, the title track ‘Diamonds‘ plays, for this single EDM and R&B blend flawlessly and create a very unique dreamy vibe, the synth gives the track a futuristic vibe, and the vocals are next level, Taeyong and Suran harmonising was a totally unexpected element, their tones are super different but complement fantastically.
For this single we get a live performance video with both Suran and Taeyong looking incredible gorgeous, the lightning, set design and camera work are mesmerising and super classy. Check it below.
Next up
‘LUCKY STAR‘ takes over with a bit of an experimental style and smooth singing, this track is fresh and unique, the music arrangement is fantastic and there is a mix of rhythms that had me blown away.
‘Wish i could‘ comes up next with nostalgia and a very emotional orchestration. This song goes straight to the heart. Listening to it is a beautiful experience, just take your time taking in all the elements in this song and the powerful emotions behind the singing. An absolute masterpiece.
