CUBE Entertainment debuted the new boygroup NOWADAYS with their self-titled single album. This is their introduction in the album description: “NOWADAYS, comprised of 5 members Hyun Bin, Yoon, Yeonwoo, Jinhyuk, and Siyun, emphasizes their unlimited charm and their own identity by establishing a new DAYS-POP (days pop) genre that will be with them every day.”
Let’s take a closer look!
NOWADAYS
We start off the single album with the intro ‘Now‘. This is a killer intro with EDM and a sick beat. This was released a couple of weeks ago as a teaser.
Next up is their title track ‘OoWee‘. This combines a soulful melody with hip-hop elements and an 808 beat. I enjoyed the rap verses and the catchy chorus.
I love how silly this music video is!
The last track is ‘TICKET’. This is a cute pop track where we get to hear a bit more of the vocals. I enjoyed the layering of this and the panning in the left and right headphones. It’s cute and playful, it’s a win!
