Rookie group H1-KEY is back with a new release. They are following up the sporty look with a fresh concept in ‘RUN‘. Their debut single ‘ATHLETIC GIRL‘ was definitely a rather unexpected debut single but they absolutely pique our interest with its sound and flawless vibe.
This extended single album includes three new single, their instrumental version and an exclusive single only included in the physical version as a present for M1-KEY. Let’s check the music.
RUN
Pop and rock mix in the title track ‘RUN‘. This single is a refreshing listen with a summery feel and a lovely music arrangement. This song is very much season appropriate and it is a super easy listen. I really enjoyed their harmonisations and overall sound. For the music video we get Californian summer vibes meets the kpop summer filter. The individual shots and landscapes are very eye catching, and the members really look like they are having a blast, living their best summer adventure. Watch it below.
EDM takes over in ‘Catch ‘n’ Release‘ and surprises listeners with dope beats and impressive mixing. This track is rather alternative but H1-KEY absolutely killed it. They managed to make this single catchy, fun and an absolute vibe. Just be prepared to be hyped up by this track.
‘Heart Light‘ finished this release with a rock-ish guitar riff and synth. This single gave me major summer adventure soundtrack vibes and its youthful and carefree style makes the perfect end for this cool summer release.
